Over the past 10 years I’ve always recommended John Maxwel’s website for Scotland International Football match results. http://www.sfu.ca/~maxwell/scot_results.html. John has now been running the website for 14 years and it’s become one of the best known sites among Scotland statos.
I’ve now found a new website that appears to offers more extensive facts and figures. http://www.scotlandfootballstats.co.uk/
I'm not sure who runs the site, but it has to be one of the most comprehensive stats sites I've seen. The only thing it seems to be missing is what the weather was doing during a game!
Match Stats – allows you to select the opponent, home or away, win loose or draw, or competitive or friendly and Venue. It even goes as far as which strip they were wearing at the time!
Player Stats – Top appearances, Top Goal Scorers, SFA Hall of Fame, Silver Caps, a list of every player who has ever played for Scotland and also every world player that has ever played against Scotland. For each player, it lists all their appearances, if they were substituted, their number of caps and number of goals.
Competitions – World Cup, European Championship, British Championship, Rous cup, Kirin Cup, Brazilian Independence Cup, and the Hong Kong Cup. For each section it lists the over all match stats as well as any cups won.
Managers – search through the results of all the managers from Andy Beattie to George Burley. Again has overall match stats for each manager.
FIFA Rankings – Highest Ranking, Lowest Ranking, monthly rankings going back to 1992.
History – A review of the various stages in Scotland’s football history covering the tournaments, the managers and friendlies.
The website is very extensive and congratulations must go to who ever spent the time developing and maintaining it. It must have taken months to enter all the stats. It's a shame the SFA couldn't have come up with something similar.

SSC members who purchased the 3 match packages for Norway, Macedonia and Netherlands are now starting to receive their match tickets through the post. Tickets are being sent to the lead name. This is the earliest in recent years that the SFA have sent out tickets - nearly 6 weeks in this case. For recent games tickets have been sent out as late as 6 days before the game.
Meanwhile reports are appearing saying some members who purchased individual tickets from the SSC Ticket line have been charged twice. For somebody booking one Macedonia and one Netherlands ticket this is showing up as 2 x £50 charges. Ticket line are said to be investiagting.

Most web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari etc) allow you to “subscribe” to a website if it offers a subscription service. This allows you to see updates without actually having to visit the site. This uses something called RSS (Really Simple Syndication) .
Personally I use Google Reader (http://www.google.com/Reader), and normally check it once a day for updates. This saves me from visiting each website and having a look to see if anything news been added.
Here are some Scotland International Team and general tartan army RSS feeds:-

Have you ever wondered how many SSC points you had? Wondered what the last 10 away games were? Well TartanArmy.net has the answer.
We've added a new page to the TatranArmy.net site that allows you to check. It lists the last 10 away games that qualify for a point (B games don;t for example), and also lists the upcoming games and games that have recently dropped of the 10 point list.
The page is updated automatically so it should always be up to date and accurate.

The SSC have announced that all tickets to the Scotland V Norway game have been allocated. 2200 Tickets were available originally with 1,400 going to people who had between 4 and 10 points. Those that applied for tickets that were on 3 points will be entered in to a ballot. The ballot will take place in the next few days and all members on 3 points should find out by Friday 16th June. It is though that the SSC were short by about 100 tickets.
Unfortunately due to the way the Norwegians have sold their how support tickets it is very unlikely they'll be able to accommodate extra Scotland fans.
