Update - Shirt has now been launched by the SFA - more information here
There's been a lot of debate about what the new Scotland Adidas football strips will look like. We've gleaned a lot from Football Nations posts on Facebook as they were at the retailers only launch party back in November. No photographs from the event have leaked yet so we can only go by their description. What we know so far:-
Will be worn for the first time at the Scotland V Czech Republic match on Wednesday 3rd March 2010. The Home shirt will then be available to the public around June/July 2010. The away top will be available August 2010 to both the SFA and the public.
Navy with 3 white stripes down the sleeve from the neck line to the end. The collar is white and forms a circle round the neck. An embossed Lion Rampant shadow on the front along with the current SFA logo.
The shorts will be white with red socks.
The shirt will be a type 2 design. This means Adidas will use an existing design and customise it for Scotland.
The Away top will be yellow with navy blue stripes.
The Home top will be replaced in August 2011 by a brand new completely original and unique Adidas shirt.
The design below was created by TAMB member CraigCooper. It has been noted by sources that it's very close to the original.

The Scotland Supporters club have announced details of the membership renewals for the 2012 qualifying rounds.
Members can enrol from today at the SSC website - www.scottishfa.co.uk/renewals
Membership will run from January 2010 to 31st December 2011 which will cover the qualifications for Euro 2012.
Renew before the 15th January 2010 and the fee is £40 for 2 years. Renew between 16th January and 28th February and the cost will be £45. After that membership will be opened up to new members, so will be on a first come first served basis.
As usual membership will guarantee a ticket to home matches played at Hampden. Membership this year will also include an SSC supporters club pack, special 30th anniversary t-shirt, discounts on merchandise and access to the SSC website.
As for the SSC being 30 years old it's not. The SSC was formed in 2005 - even it's predecessor the STC was only formed in the early 80's.

The SFA have announced today that G4S Events has become the new sponsor of the Scotland supporters Club for the next 4 years.
The G4S group of companies bought Rock Steady a few years ago. Between them they'd been providing security to the SFA for the past 20 years.
Most will remember the Rock Steady stewards as "the Rock Steady Gorillas" for their often brutal security methods at Hampden. If you waved a flag or had the nerve to stand up you ran the risk of being ejected form the ground.
Gordon Smith commented "The SSC has gone from strength to strength in recent years reaching its highest ever level of membership during 2009. We are committed to continual improvement of the services we offer to Scotland fans and the G4S sponsorship deal is another important step forward in improving the experience. The spirit of the agreement and the way in which G4S have pledged to support the club will be of enormous benefit to us and to the supporters."
I'm not sure what's happening at the SFA at the moment but they sure do seem to be making very odd decisions.
The full press release is on the SFA Website
