SSC Membership reopen for new applications on Saturday 1st May

Following recent issues with the SFA and SSC websites, membership applications for the Scotland Supporters Club will reopen on Saturday 1st May.  At the moment we don't have the web address but the previous one was www.scottishfa.co.uk/joinnow The previous attempt to open new memberships ended spectacularly when the website became heavily overloaded and crashed.

It's expected there'll be about 5,000 membership places in the SSC available.  At a recent ATAC meeting the SFA confirmed 27,000 had renewed, with a maximum of 32,500.

The price for a new member will be £50 for adults, £25 for under 18's and over 65's. Membership will cover the next 2 years up to December 2012.

When signing up you'll need to have the following to hand, plus a digital photo of yourself.

Name
Full postal address including postcode
Date of birth
Mother’s maiden name (this will be used as a security question in future)
Email address
At least one contact telephone no (you can input up to 3 numbers per person)
Emergency contact’s name
Emergency contact’s phone no
Emergency contact’s relationship to new member

Membership packs should be sent out within 6 weeks - that'll be 6 weeks going on 4 months if recent renewals are anything to go by.
